Travel That Leaves More Than Footprints
Beauty is not enough. Every Safari Sisters journey is built to move resources, respect and opportunity toward the women and wild places of Southern Africa.
Reinvested locally
A fixed share of the price of each journey flows directly to the women-led partners and conservation projects we travel alongside — not as charity, but as a standing commitment.
Her livelihood, her lead
We prioritise female guides, hosts, cooks and camp teams. Where we can hire a woman, we do — and we pay fairly, transparently and on time.
Long relationships
We return to the same cooperatives and camps year after year, so our presence becomes something communities can plan around rather than a one-off visit.

Her Eyes on the Future
Tourism has long extracted from Africa — its images, its wildlife, its stories — while leaving too little behind for the women who hold communities together. Safari Sisters exists to invert that flow.
When you travel with us, your journey becomes a form of investment: in a guide building her career, a cooperative expanding its workshop, a reserve keeping its rangers in the field. We measure success not only in sunsets seen, but in livelihoods strengthened.
How We Show Up
Our impact rests on three pillars that guide every itinerary we design and every partner we choose.
Women-led livelihoods
From craft cooperatives in Lesotho to guiding teams in Zambia, we route work and income toward women. Guests meet the makers, sit at their tables and buy directly — with no middlemen taking a cut.
Conservation that pays its way
Our camps and reserves fund anti-poaching, habitat protection and wildlife monitoring. By choosing low-impact, small-group travel, every sister helps keep these wild places viable.
Community, not spectacle
We visit on invitation, share meals, and follow the lead of local hosts. Cultural exchange happens on equal footing — never as a photo stop, always as a conversation.

Follow along, share the stories, and travel with intention. Every sister makes the circle wider.
